Is there an extra fee for mobile massage service?
No. There is no travel fee or surcharge for mobile service anywhere within Ottawa. The price you see on my website is the price you pay, plus HST. This applies to all neighborhoods I serve, from Kanata to Orléans.
Is at-home massage covered by insurance?
Yes. I am a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. My receipts are accepted by most insurance plans including Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Blue Cross, Desjardins and Green Shield. Whether the massage is at a clinic or at your home, the insurance coverage is the same.
What space do I need for a mobile massage?
You need a clear space of approximately 2 metres by 3 metres. A living room or any open area works perfectly. I set up and take down everything myself — you do not need to prepare or clean up anything.
